The Italian brand Fornarina has a fascinating history that begins in 1947 in Civitanova Marche. Founded by Gianfranco Fornari, the brand has always focused on the artisanal quality of footwear from the Marche region. Fornarina's first creations were shoes that combined the search for new high-quality materials with an innovative design.In the 1950s and 1960s Fornarina established itself on the market with impactful models aimed at a young audience. The clog, a modern reinterpretation of the classic wooden clog worn by mothers and grandmothers, became the must-have heeled shoe for every girl of the time.
In the 80s he began his adventure in the Asian market by opening numerous shops in China and Hong Kong but it was in the 90s that Fornarina marked a real turning point. He launched Up! the first sneaker designed specifically for the women's market. Up! it has become an emblem of the brand's transversality, suitable for every occasion and appreciated by generations of women. The iconic crown, symbol of Fornarina, was everywhere, and next to Up! another emblem of the brand was very popular: denim, available in various washes and processes.
In 2009 Fornarina entered television with Lindsay Lohan as the protagonist of unforgettable advertising campaigns.
